Eleni’s Bakery was recently opened by Canadians Eleni Daperis and her husband Dmitri Toupikov, along with Ricardo Barrett. 

They fell in love with Jamaica and decided to stay but missed the quintessential French baguette and pastries. 

So Eleni’s bakery was established to provide fresh French bread and pastries. Everything in this 148.6 square meters endroit is baked on location and in full view of patrons.

“We will get better,” shared Eleni “There’ll be new additions each day.” The bakery opened with 20 different types of French bread, two Italian breads and over 1,500 units of goodies.  The suitably located, fully air-conditioned bakery has opened to rave reviews. 

“Sandwiches, salads and fresh juice will soon be on the menu,” continued Eleni. “We want to incorporate as many local ingredients as possible.”
