Past and Present

Acrylic with collage on canvas; 70.1 x 50.0 cm. Past to Present, at the centre of this drama of events is self portraits surrounded by textures and organic materials collaged to the surface of canvas. The simple arched shape adds a spatial dimension to the composition. The early 90’s were personally challenging yet creative times when even the asymmetrical balance of vertical and horizontal were welcomed.
